El manejo quirúrgico de los pacientes con enfermedad diverticular, puede ser requerido para aquellos casos con diverticulitis recurrente, o una de sus complicaciones, que incluyen, Abscesos peridiverticulares, Perforación, Enfermedad fistulizante, Estenosis y/o Obstrucción.
