Hipotermia terapéutica neonatal en caso de encefalopatía hipóxica

terapéutica en recién nacidos con encefalopatía hipóxica – isquémica con el fin de mejorar la supervivencia y aumentar el desarrollo biopsicosocial del neonato a largo plazo.

Es entendible que el proceso requiera de conocimientos y aptitudes específicas por parte del personal que se hace cargo con el fin de poder identificar precozmente este evento y poder  llevar a cabo la terapia de forma adecuada.

En la actualidad, se está en continuo estudio para incrementar las mejoras de esta estrategia terapéutica y así disminuir las tasas de mortalidad y discapacidad derivadas de la encefalopatía neonatal.
